Maloney Meats was started in February of 2010 by Pat, Carolyn and Kevin Maloney.
     Pat and Carolyn started farming in 1971. They raise corn, soybeans, pigs and cattle. Their farm is located northeast of Manchester and they still own the farm Carolyn's ancestors settled in the 1840's. They raised two children, Colleen and Kevin.
    Colleen lives near Lamont, Iowa with her husband, Randy Goedken and their two children, Jaxon and Audry. They raise corn, soybeans and beef cattle. Colleen works for the Starmont School. Jaxon and Audry are active in 4-H and Basketball.
     Kevin and his wife, Sheena, live north of Manchester. They have 2 children, Anna and Charles. They raise corn, soybeans, pigs and cattle and are very active in Farm Bureau.
     Pat and Carolyn have sold whole and half cattle and pork for over 30 years. Several years ago they started selling packaged meat to friends, family and at the farmers market. After having success with this and the many compliments they recieved they decided to open the store. They enjoy the store and have fun connecting with the customers they meet. We feel it is a wonderful way to promote our product to the local customers. We feel that knowing where your food comes from and buying locally benefits everyone.
